Tegesoft and its partner OptiMEAS designed and built a system that supervises and predicts components stress in the nuclear reactor cooling circuit.
- Background
-
This project takes place in the context of the reenforcement of european nuclear safety norms.
- Description
-
Nuclear plant leader AREVA just installed FAMOS-FFE, a brand new system that supervises and predict mechanical components thermal stress for the reactor cooling circuits.
At the heart of the reactor confinement building, this system must run 24/7 without interruption, during years, without human action still guaranteeing the integrity and completeness of the acquired data.
It has been development by a joined venture between Tegesoft and OptiMEAS. Tegesoft managed the architecting and conception of the distributed data acquisition kernel, the data computation and storage. OptiMEAS managed the HMI, databases and prediction and simulation module development.
Acquiring in real time, at the heart of the plant, more than 300 measurement points (temperature, analog and digital signals), FAMOS-FFE allows to model and anticipate mechanical stress of the cooling circuit components.
"« this project was a real challenge when it comes to reliability, robustness and performance, in such a nuclear power context. Our methodology and our experience allowed us to mater the challenge with success to deliver our customer a system that matches all expectations.
The whole team is proud to be a contributor of the success of such large project. »
