This project was part of the development of a new Web portal solution required by a car manufacturer.

A TCP-IP client-server architecture with an optimised data protocol has been realised to collect on a single PC the data produced by the remote testbed computers (about 150). The same PC plays also as Web server by publishing Web pages that provide graphical representations of the status of remote testbeds and configurable views of the data of the running measuring processes. Authorised test engineers can access to the produced Web pages from any PC within an intranet network by using a web browser.
The application is also able to send e-mails to responsible users when a failure occurs on any of the testbeds.
